since you live in the UAE...(just like me) i would suggest you do what i did..order your short block from a reputable shop in the US...a shop that builds 4G63 engines on a daily basis...(i.e. Buschur, AMS, JAM...)
i went with buschur.
you could also go with 1000 dunes garage...Sam has been building evos for as long as i've known him...10~12 years but his price is just a LITTLE less than what it would cost me to ship in a Buschur fully built block including the core fee.
good luck and let me know if you need anything

Buschur & AMS are the odvious to option. there are a million and one more around.

is Buschur and AMS using custom cranks yet??? if not i know of two shops here in the UK that are. and you can have a proper 2.4ltr on the stock block using a 102mm stroke that will rev to 8K all day!

thanks Chris.

Norris designs is using 85.5mm with a 100mm stroke crank (see below)

http://www.norrisdesigns.com/proddet...d=evo%2D034012

And RC Developemnts is using 86mm items but can run anything from 85-87mm and thats with a 102mm stroke (see below)

http://www.rcdevelopments.com/portal...mart&Itemid=76

pretty good prices for what you are getting! both will rev to 8K (ND kit will go higher i think) and have been tested to the moon and back.

Cheers

Chris.

I have a Jackson Auto Machine 2.3L stroker.

There is Harmonic noise with the JAM 2.3L, and the knock sensor pics it up.
JAM recommends that you use a stand alone.

I have installed 4 JAM 2.3L stage 3 builds in street cars with no issues.Carmella and JAM go out of there way to make a customer happy.I have used a few other shops 2.3l short blocks but JAM had the best one!!! The one I built made 639 AWHP and 577lbft of torque and Tuned by Shawn Ivey with only a 35R kit and 30lbs of boost...Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGmm-iroxVk I hope this helps.Scott Shiner...North East Turbo...
