RPM's UP

ok so this has just gotten worse for my evo...i got an evo 9..now i know the clutch is on its way out..but for soem reason if i hit boost and bring the rpms up to like 4500 or more and push the clutch in....the rpms...dont really come down...it makes a sound as if i have my foot on the gas....and if i dont push the clutch in...the car will not engine break it feels as if i floor it through the gear and it feels like its in nuetral or soimething when i let off.....is it the clutch...what could this be

if its ECU controlled throttle hang - the engine will start braking, and the rpms will drop normally, right when you disengage the top clutch switch.

you just press the clutch enough to hit the switch, but leave the clutch engaged. i think i only need to depress mine 1/5" to get it to start engine braking.

my friend had a problem like this with a stock MR when his clutch was bad so he replaced it and it was all good again so id go with replacing the clutch than see where ur standing

well my clutch is on its way out, even though it is not slipping, i can feel that its just about there. It may actually be the clutch so after i fix this i guess ill let u guys know
