good numbers, bro! I didnt care fror my kit but I think it was more to do with the size of the turbo than the kit. I like really quick response so the bigger turbos aren't my cup of tea. I had similar results in terms of spool but never tuned on race gas or meth. 370 whp i made on pump but torque was lower than stock turbo. 310 ft/lb I think. anyway. good job!

Its a 30R with 5200rpm spoolup. (slower than a 35R)

What are you so excited about?

Its cheap, it allows you to use a factory manifold. -BENEFITS

It suffers from slow spoolup boost response like much larger turbos - NEGATIVES

Exactly.

THose are Good peak numbers but your curve looks like you should be making 580+ whp considering when your making your power, that thing is laggy as hell.

Granted I had a 2.3 I was making 150 more ft lbs of tq than you at 4500 rpm.

28 PSI. i hit 21.5 psi by like 4300, how does that make the spool up bad?

the more boost, the longer it will take to build. u cant just take the same turbo and assume that the peak tq will be in the same spot for every boost pressure.

no that guy is right the spool is really slow for that turbo my experience peak boost is by about 4k or a little after regardless of the psi

Agreed. Looks like unusable power unless you like to roll race. It won't be very fun on the streets compared to other setups nor is using 100% METH something a daily driven car should be doing.

Seems like a band aid on top of a band aid of a kit.

so ur telling me that the amount of boost has nothing to do with spool up? thats BS.

so if u were boosting 10 psi it would still hit at 4000?

30 psi would hit t 4000 too?

show me, and i will believe it.

Someone post a non-ATP 2.0l, 30r or even a 35r dyno @ ~28 psi so we can see how much quicker the spool up really is or isnt.

Very nice numbers!

NOW you need to post 1/4mile times and trap times This is the only way to shut people up about this kit.

Are you going to drag it?

another thing, as mentioned in my defense in another ATP attack thread, was that on the dyno, the spool up is different due to the varrying loads than on the street.

if u want, i will take a video of the boost gage and tach when i get the car.
