Congrats on the power. You are the first person in the world to make 500whp on an atp kit. So it took you a built motor, ported head, full-race manifold and that ATP kit. With the money you spent on the full-race manifold and the atp kit you could have picked up a much nicer kit and made 50whp more. I talked **** before thinking you had a stock head and a ported stock manifold. The price of that kit and the full-race manifold combined could have gotten you something nice.

If you want to come up here and catch a load of flak from people who have experience running these kits and are asking you questions be prepared to handle them.

I'll run deadbeat whenever he wants, no more 30R for me 35R here, bigger cams, bigger IC, I'm down

Scorke
The problem is the kits are made to be stealthy and cheap. The kit is no longer stealthy with that full-race manifold on it and it is not cheap anymore that you added a $1200 manifold to it.

Also their is no way that tune is conservative. That is just what AL told you. On 4wheel slides built car and a 3065 he pulled off 545whp and it was not conservative. That turbo makes a **** load more power than a 3076. Not to mention it is being held back with that hotside. Their is no room for more power. You are maxed out.

Remember I am not fighting with you and I am glad you are happy with your power but like Scorke said if you name a thread like that the ATP haters are coming out. It is hard for you to defend this kit when you look at the extremes you had to go through in order to do this. For the money and the parts you spent you could have had a more responsive car with more power.

stock head, its not ported. stock intake mani, its not ported, the full race mani was purchased for like half price.

the only thing ported on my car is the exhaust housing on the turbo.

You finally made great power , and im honestly impressed with the possibly of this kit. The problem is like others you bought the kit to save money since its $1500 cheaper than any thing else on the market, yet you ended up spending more. Granted you have a one off setup and i think you really do have the highest ATP kit #'s.

2300(kit) + 1200(mani) + misc(500) + ported head (400) = 4400 to make the same power a buschur kit could have made for 3000.... or 4400 would have been an ams kit to just bolt right up and have a half *** tune still make 500.

Either way congrats on the power, time to ditch that and put a hta turbo on there and make 600+ whp without flinching.

and by conservative that just means its not pushing the limits of knocking. he makes sure there is 0 knock count on the dyno and on the streets. and 28 psi isnt all the high for 93 and meth.

It really depends how much youre spraying... What i have right now on the car is alot for stock turbo which would explain the numbers i was making, but now with the 3065 its weak sauce.

In my case i couldnt safely boost more than 27-28 pounds because of my tiny smc pump....

I planned on getting a kit with a stronger pump so i can run more meth to get to 32-33 pounds so i can meet my goal of 600whp daily....

Just to make sure its capable before i go thru the hassle and spend the money i ran straight c16 and was able to make 615whp with 33 pounds.

Cheers!

Just because it doesn't have knock doesn't make it conservative. You can sell that kit and buy an hta 35r without spending a dime. You will spool just as fast and make 100whp more.

Its too late now... Cars finally making the power it should with another kit...

I would be happy if i were him, it just sucks he had to go thru all of that for 500whp...

The end result is always worth it though

Well then scratch the ported head. Again congrats on the numbers. Enjoy that beast. Our views on this subject will never be the same though.
