need help for final step in rebuild!

my friend just finshed rebuilding his wrecked evo 9...all is good but the problem is that the odometer is not working, its not moving at all, could there be a fuse blown(he checked everyone) or maybe a broken plug somwhere? need help asap, this is the only thing holding him back from his inspection, thanks

both the speed odometer, and the odometer dont work....i'm guessing its the plug on the tranny? any body know where that is? i'll try using process of elim...if this dosent do it, it just might be a bad cluster?
