Jun 272's, GSC S2's, or Revolvers for new setup??

Hi all.

I am changing my cams out (Already going to be in there anyways) for my new setup... The car is going to be on the stock ecu (Evo 8) but the future might hold an AEM in the mix..

The new kit is going to be a HTA GT35R (special setup) with full bolt ons.. adequate supply of fuel.. ignition .. etc.

I currently have Cosworth m2's, which are great cams... but I just want something different.. I am putting in new seals for my Supertech Dual Springs, Ti retainers, and seats so the valvetrain will be sufficient enough to handle any of these aggressive cams..

I do realize that these are hard to tune on stock ecu.. but that is okay because I have the best tuner ever and I know he will tweak it out (:

So .. Jun 272's, GSC S2s, or Revolvers?? I am looking to make good torque on my new setup and would like something that pulls all the way through the powerband as well (:

I am also open to suggestions, but would really like to do one of these cams.

Also considering the Buschur Racing Cams... Does any one have the specs on them?? Lift, actual duration, Lobe Centerlines, and LSA? Also, can you use them on the stock ecu....

I really want to make the right decision.. This will be my LAST cam upgrade!

I would say either the s2's or why not jun 280's? Juns from everything i have ever read are bada** cams. That would be my two options though. Ive read awesome things about both.

I would give my personal experience with them but im not a big dog like you and i only have the s1's lol.

Good luck

You have to go with JUN's... they receive such great praise. Don't put a cam in now and be wondering later what you might have made with JUN's.

Revolvers perform well but I am skeptical of their quality control as my friend had a cam way out of spec which we had to retard 10 cam degrees to get it to spec.

Ive ran the gsc s2 and made 1014whp. I had the BC 280s and made about 924whp. We are seeing with springs upgrade and stock turbo up to 50whp gains with the S2 cams

Wow.. What a tough decision ... so it sounds like either the Jun 272's or GSC S2's... The reason I was looking at the revolvers was because I have heard they make good torque numbers and quicker spool.. but on the other hand.. have heard they are not as consistent as others.. (hense the reason why they stopped making them).

my vote is for jun272 or B/R BF272 cams.

i am pulling my cams out and more then likely going with BF272s. if dave will sell them to me that is. haha.

for a 35r or bigger these 2 cam choices are best IMHO

I am pretty sure he went with the Bf272.. I run the same cams in my RS that made 700+ and went 9.63 1st time out at the track.. The cams make good power!!
