Megan Type 2 stealth

Anyone have this exhaust? I don't hear of it often and am looking into getting it possibly. I have a JDM rear so Im assuming I will have to cut it to fit properly. Anyone heard this exhaust? How does it sound, fit, quality? Any input will help. thanks guys

Are you talking about the black one?

I believe its the same exhaust as the regular one, just painted black.

I just ordered this exhaust. Should come in any week now. I believe you'll have to do a little work to make the proper fitment for a JDM rear. This includes shortening the midpipe and angling the muffler.

i have the megan stealth not sure if it is the type 2 or not. it is black and the exhaust shop did alot to make it fit my jdm bumper. as soon as i have enough money im gonna go with the trust or arc exhaust. other than not liking the way it fits it seems like an ok exhaust. seems about as heavy as the stock if that matters to anyone.

Megan's full TBE with cat delete is about 40 lbs whereas the Buschur is around 30 lbs. Still very lightweight.

The Megan is one of the best sounding catbacks I've ever heard. It sounds very burly and at WOT it just screams. I had mine shortened to fit the JDM bumper, all the shop did was cut behind the muffler a few inches and re-weld it back on. It took probably 15-20 minutes.

This time next week, I will have some photos on my dinky little digital camera. I hope the black exhaust blends in well with the black bumper. I'm not really a fan of modern exhaust muffler canisters. Remind me too much of fartcans on Hondas. This is why I chose a more "subtle" looking exhaust.

Coworker had this exhaust. Its not bad for the price. After 3 months of use the paint was all chipped and burnt off on the intermediate pipe though....

But not on the muffler? I doesn't bother me if the midpipe looses paint. I just don't want a bright chrome thing sticking out of my bumper after a month.
