resurfaced flywheel ok ?

resurfaced flywheel ok ?

im upgrading my clutch to an act sprung 6 puck and i was wondering if its ok to use the stock flywheel ? get it resurfaced or something cause aftermarkets flywheels are 300n up whoa.. so im wondering would the stock flywheel able to handle it ?

Yah just have it resurfaced to whatever ACT reccomends, make sure the machine shop machines the steps down to match the surface.

how much does that usually cost? would it be better just to buy an act flywheel ?

Resurface is perfectly fine. Most guys go the aftermarket flywheel route for something lighter.
