help with transmission leak :(

so i was leaking alot of gear oil about 2 weeks ago and i took my car to the mechanic. they told me the black cover was loose and they tightend it and sent me on my way. i filled the tranny up and thought no more of it.
well lately ive been hearing a small whine when i start from a stop that last about a secon and is gone, so i got under the car and sure enough its leaking again.

has any one had a problem with that black cover under the tranny leaking? i cleaned it off and by morning it had a slight leak, maybe a few drops of oil.

any one know how i can go about fixing this? is there a seal to replace or do i use silicone?
anyone know if i can just replace the cover and bolts?
i tried tightening it up and i have reason to belive a couple bolts are stripping. one reason being one would not get tight and the other is there was a metal shaving coming off the base of the bolt

It is possible something as simple as not torquing down (or too much torque) the fill or drain plugs. What type of fluids went into the tranny? I think it is like Diaqueen 75W85. Someone correct me on that.

What would I do? Drain fluids, clean off the bolts, and refill tranny with new fluids. Wouldn't hurt, but they are kind of expensive. If the bolt is stripping, even a little, replace it.

i belive its 75 90 but not for sure ill have to check. but the leak is definitly from that black cover. i cleaned everything off last night so i could see this morning what and where was leaking and around the edge of the black cover and on the tip of a couple bolts was oil. its a extremely slow leak if it took 6 hours for that much oil to leak out but non the less its a leak

you are talking about taking the black cover off?
im just curious if there is a seal i need to replace.
to me the cover got loose, the seal maybe got gear oil on it and now its just not seating properly.
should just drain it drop that cover off and go to mitsu and say i need this
ill try warranty first i guess
