I think AMS and Buschur kinda have reasons to be semi cocky.... how many 8 second evos are there right now?

Isn't it pretty cocky to say something about a car beating AMS when the car is not even done yet? It's a nice ride thats for sure but is this car going to belt out 1130 whp? run 170's in the 1/4? To be determined of course but AMS is not a company I would call out in a drag race...

 

if Buschur can't kill AMS how do expect a car that is not finished, doesnt look close to being finished yet, never on the dyno, never run and your calling/questioning it an AMS KILLER?

As said later in this thread, it's a tall order to beat the AMS drag car, not saying it can't be done cough buschur but it takes a serious driver and a serious car to hang with buschur and AMS

 

AMS and buschur... one is faster, the other is quicker...

Really doesnt matter who is faster, it's the driver who can at that point put the best run together.. If Buschur traps 5 mph faster but can't get past the 8.56 does it really much matter?

 

I am sure that AMS and Buschur would love to see someone come up and beat their times but as it sits right now, Paul Nelson and Danimal are the two closest... It's going to be a great year, some wicked cars being built but to beat AMS and Buschur it's gonna be hard!

 

Well if you're in the market to buy parts to make your Evo fast, the trap speed does matter!

If you however are looking to purchase a race car driver....

Hey guys, this thread isn't about us or AMS. Let Devo get a little attention in it.

Our car was started late this year, it is going to be quite some time before it is even out on the track this year.

Again, thanks Dave for the support and positive comments on the drag car. I think Adam said it best by just stating that this build is for a customer that just wants a wicked drag car. His intentions are definitely not to go calling any competing shops out or anything like that.
