evo9 10.5 turbo

what is the sweet spot for this turbo? I currently have this on a 8motor and run 19psi and I find it very laggy compared to the orginal 16G it had. any advise would be appreciated.

You can try a couple of things. First, which also happens to be cheapest and easiest, is to increase the preload on your wastegate. Secondly, you could swap the 10.5 exhaust housing for a 9.8 unit. These should be relatively cheap used. Maybe you just happen to have one lying around from your old turbo.
