Kelfords for the win

 

I <3 my Kelford 272's.

 

so if I keep it under 8k rpm, Kelford 272 does not need spring and valve upgrade

Guys at AMS, id like to know does anyone know how well these cams perform on DSM?
Im sure it would be quite similar. I am thinking about swapping out my BC272's for these Kelford 272s and just using brian crower springs and retainers for up to 8500rpm.

I have Jun's 272 Mivec and I am thinking to change them with Tomei 280 Mivec.
What do you think?
My Evo IX has big turbo and a coswoth block and cosworth head.

It will be a good swap if you ONLY care about top end power.. I personally had these cams.. sure they made a ton up top, but they lost spool, low end, and mid range power compared to my Cosworth M2's I was previously running (Very comparable to Kelford 272s)..

damn those s3's were rockin... I didn't notice them before... were these recently tested?

 

No sir.. This test was done a while ago and everything was done at the same point in time.

 

If I go with Tomei,is it better to choose the solid camshafts with the solid pivots or should I use just the lash camshafts?
