Hks Dli-2

I think this is the right forum.

I have a HKS DLI-2 and I dont know if it is working correctly. I have been looking for a manual for 3 hours and cant seem to search for the right thing.

Does anyone have one or know where I can download it from?

the light on the box should be on all the time while the car is running, make sure the unit is grounded well.

I have it grounded to the same ground that is coming off the Intake manifold and bolted just below the strut brace.

Anyone know how to test the box?

The red light needs to be on all the time.

Well the Box is designed if it goes bad that the stock coils will still work. The reason I believe to to be bad is that 1) the red light isnt on, 2) the car ran sorta rough with it hooked up, but when I remove it from the coils, the car runs smoother thru the RPM.

If the LED isn't on when the car is running, you have a bad box...

Ok I found out my issue. Part of it was the ground. I had it grounded to the same ground that comes off the intake manifold and bolts just below the strut brace. The second part of the issue was where I had the box mounted, it kept going into a thermal protection or something.

So I moved the ground to directly on to the battery and the red light is very bright now. Then I relocated the box to between the battery and the fuse box.
