either whoever replaced a radiater hose pulled it off and the nipple got stuck in the hose. Your suppose to cut the hose and replace it when taking it off or replacing a hose on the radiator every radiator has 3 psi per degree so maybe you need to upgrade to a bigger psi per degree im not sure when it comes to performance with the evo but it sounds like a nipple got stuck in the hose. If you go to jiffy lube they will flush your whole system out from the block and fill it up again thats what i had done after my nipple got stuck in the hose.
