I recently ran some seafoam through my engine to see if I could spot any exhaust leaks and discovered a little bit of smoke coming out of the pin where the wastegate arm connects to the hotside. I'd say the exhaust was coming out with the consistency of a cigar's smoke. Is this a non-issue since it's post turbo? I'm not even certain how I'd fix this if I needed to. Opinions? Advice?

 

Are you sure it was coming from there? Maybe it was from the o2 bottom bolt area and the smoke rising up looked as if it were from the waste gate flapper?

 

^^^ I would have to agree. I have never heard of an exhaust leak from the arm.
