Steelcityevo has a video of his car running 25psi on his GT3076r vs a heavy modded evogreen running 29psi. PM him and ask for the link to see what happens

The Most I have seen on a GT3076R is 450WHP Pump, but you may as well go 35R.

GREEN or 35R

The 30R is a useless turbo IMHO, just pointless, more lag then a Green, no where NEAR the power of a 35R

Well , speaking on personal experience. I have gone 11.18 @ 125 mph with the 3076R and only pushing 26psi.

I have also raced a friend with a green , I was running 25psi vs his 29psi , He would get the hit with spool but within 1 gear change and I was next to him and bye the next gear he was looking at tail lights. I have it on vid but it is on the street so, sorry

These guys that are in the 10's with the green are pushing it to the absolute limit. spiking well over 30 psi, in fact probably more like a 35psi spike.

I have never pushed my 30R that far but , I just wonder what some C16 and say 34-35 psi on the HTA3076R would do. I am very confident it will go 10's and up over 130 mph

My .02 cent

Are there any 3076's in the 10's? The argument is that the 3076 gives up a little spool for more top end, but I honestly can't recall any 3076's in the 10s. Not that there aren't any, just wonder if there are some out there hiding.
WOW. I guess you did not read the entire thread. 3076r flows more. More air flow= more power. Thats all. 35r is not for very one. If I can do it all over again I would stay with a 3076r making 400-450 whp and call it a day. IM LYING I LOVE THAT 35R. A man Turbo!!!

D. Buschur have posted in many threads about the Green vs the 3076R Turbos.
Do a search.

To make a long story short, the Green is a better choice. More fun, similar power.

Keep in mind, not all Green Powered cars are put together the same.
You can have 20 green equip'd Evos, and not all are going to perform the same.

So, to say that you raced one and pull a car or three cars on it with a 3076r, remember this, there are 19 more out there, all different performing .

That is my example.

My 20g is a good example of a well tuned aka Green.

This is very true and is a point I guess I have failed to make.

The Green turbo cars in the 10's are very well setup cars and pushed very hard to the limit.

I just think that you dont have to push the HTA3076R turbo as hard to get very similar results.

I believe that the green equipped car I had ran would be your average example of such equipped car , as mine would be just your average equipped 30R car.

I personally dont care either way being that I am moving up on the turbo food chain

Everybody moves from 3076 to 35r. No reason to get it in the first place, it's like training wheels.

Green or 35r, depending on how the car gets used and where in the rpm range you want it to slam you back.

Also with green you have to run high boost to make good power, with 35r it's easier to make a top number on smaller boost and maybe just pump gas, That number probably won't come till later in the rpms though.

How about the twin scroll 3076 from Full Race? You get similar spool up to the FP green with better power up top. It is expensive, though.

I've have an Oz evo9 that has most bolt ons makes 330whp on 22psi and run 117mph on 98ron or your 91 pump??? and every track session my turbo glows bright red........ i've ported the rear housing and also ported the wastegate hole with a custom flap.

Car has - FMIC, full pipe kit, 3"tbe, ported manifold, ported turbo, 787cc injectors walbro pump, autronic sm4 etc etc.

I need a larger turbo as the standard one is glowing red hot = maxed out

Do you guys run these trubo's on circuit cars or just drag racing cars.

Yeah but ask about the HTA3076r vs the green. Different ball game. Power is not the same. 34psi on the HTA vs the Green would be way different. As you said there could be 20 GT3076r turbo cars. Just cause one green does better doesnt mean it will beat the other 19. My 30r is a good example that a 30r that holds 30psi to 7700rpms and makes good power. Not just a spike.

That is a very nice set up you got.

Post your Dyno Graph and let me look at it. That way I can analyze yours and mine and give you a final comment on both, your HTA3076r and my 20GLT powerband.

I just remembered I ran 13.1 @ 118mph. I think I had a 2.6 or 2.8 sixty foot. I just rolled the car out. That was with the 3076r making 450whp.
