so i finished installing my Exedy Stage 2 Clutch a couple weeks ago and it feels completely different from the stock clutch (obviously). i put about 2k miles on it so far. it chatters a lot in first and in reverse (i read about this but i had no idea it was this harsh). sometimes it will chatter so much that the clutch pedal starts vibrating with the clutch partially engaged which doesnt feel normal. first gear is fine when the clutch is fully engaged. every other gear is fine as well. i also sometimes hear a short whining noise coming from the clutch when i reverse and ocassionally when i take off in first. two days ago i started getting a lock out in 4th gear which is inconsistent. i used to experience 5th gear lock out in high rpms with the stock clutch, but the 4th gear lockout happens in random rpms. are these behaviors normal for a race clutch (particularly the exedy stage 2)? what are some common signs of a bad clutch install? what are some signs of not having enough fluid in the tranny or tcase? am i just being really paranoid?
