Took a look inside the engine bay and noticed a bit of oil spread over the left side of the engine cover. Took off the cover and saw a small layer of oil pooled up underneath it. I also saw that there was some oil on the underside of the hood. Any ideas of what could be wrong? Links to any related threads? Flame me or whatever. I just need some ideas of what to look for. Thanks.

 

Sounds like a dip stick that popped out or a leaking oil cap. Good luck!!

 

Maybe whoever did your last oil change spilled a little and it seeped in under the cover....that and what was mentioned above ^^^
