Indy, what would you expect the spool to be on a stock, or one of your v1 manifolds?

thanks.

38 psi on a stock actuator? Not gonna happen. Has to be FP's 18lb HP version or some other, even stiffer model.

You'd be amazed how much you can actually get out of a stocker though. While I agree that its not likely to be a stocker you can still get 33-34psi out of stock actuator.

those of you that want pump gas numbers...sorry it probably won't be happening from the 9sec9/okix camp. This car is strictly run on race gas.

Some answers.

Cams are Jun 272's still, the same ones the car had before on the green.

We are NOT testing the green again on this car. It made 440/510 on the green last year, not going back on.

The dip is the boost fluctuating.

The car is not getting tuned on pump gas, Tom has an awesome outlook, drive it on Import on kill, the same way he races it.

38 psi is possible on a stock actuator actually, why wouldn't it? I didn't say it held 38 psi at redline. This car does have the FP HD actuator on it.

We took the car over to Switzer's Dynojet when we got done on our dyno today. The car probably has 50 dyno runs on it since we finished it.

On the Dynojet the car made 565 whp and 528 ft lbs of torque. We wanted an actual answer for all the times it would be asked.

The turbo on a Stage 4 would make considerably less power. The turbo on pump gas will make considerably less power.

This car is set up like my RS. It's been built with one purpose, to be the quickest/fastest it can be. I LOVE a build like this, no excuses, no BS, build it, use the best parts and lean on it. Tom's my kind of guy!

This turbo bolts right on to the stock exhaust manifold and 02 housing, direct replacement.

Larger compressor wheel and turbine wheel than the green. On the outside it looks stock.

Stock size valves are what 9sec9 wanted used in this head when we originally did it for him. Since we only needed to do a quick valve job to freshen it up for the new engine we left them.

This intake definetely has shifted the power band. I think with a standard stock intake with just our regular port job on it the power would come in 500 rpm sooner (or close to that). It would also drop off up top, this car is breathing really well up top, unusually well actually.

One last thing. This turbo has been on Trent's car now for over a month. He has been running pump gas only with it. The car hasn't been tuned on race gas at all. A few weeks ago Trent ran a 10.9 at 126 mph, that time was run on the new FP Red on 93 octane fuel only. His car is also fully built, he made 406 whp on our dyno with the car on just pump gas at 28 psi.

David - any chance we can get an overlay with the White, Green, and Red on the car.

That would really help to understand how these turbos differ.
