It's 2013 and an update would be welcome - this was the only thread I found on a quick search, so bear with dragging this out the grave
I looked up Gates: http://www.gates.com/brochure.cfm?br...cation_id=3487 - doesn't seem to say kevlar any place. Weren't OEM belts kevlar?
Which is the best belt one can get today for a stock level Evo 9 that sees abuse on track?

And with the experience you guys have with Gates, it seems like a good option, but no one answered to whether they're also made of the kevlar material like the OEM belt? Is there any specific reason you'd not recommend going to an HKS or Greddy apart from cost?
