i took my piece of **** megan manifold off today and put a stock one on for now..until i have time to send it out to get ported and coated

 

How much of a difference between stock and stock ported? Does coating make any difference in performance?

 

i hope that you are kidding with that question. (judging from your post count)
but, about 5-10 hp and the same with tq.

 

well, they say you get 10 hp more when you got to megan from stock. now i am hearing you get 10 hp more when you change megan to stock ported.

if you do some math, the stock ported should be 20 hp more than stock.

it just doesnt add up. anyways, i just wanted to point out the inconsistencies.

 

Well mine looks fine and when I install my fp red in a couple of weeks hopefully. I'll check for cracks. If I don't have any I'm getting my megan heat coated. If I do have cracks I'll get a ported and coated stocker.

 

i have had zero issues with mine and i love it. 1 and a half years and still goin strong
