few questions from a newb
I was going to do the fuel within the next few weeks, take it to get tuned or re flashed or what ev. new to the evo thing ha. Then get a shear mani with gt35r and a new o2 housing in about 4-5 months. and flash it again.
If you are running a stock or near-stock setup right now, I would recommend NOT installing anything besides a walbro. You probably wont benefit from 1000cc injectors or anything else fuel related (except methanol) until you run your 35R setup. As for getting it flashed, do that ASAP as it makes a "night-and-day" difference. Also a good idea would be to speak with whoever you plan on having tune your car, and see what he would recommend for your goals. Hope this helps man.

I dont really understand why you would recommend people not upgrade their fuel system at any point. A properly tuned 1000cc fuel setup with a 255pump can be just as fuel effiecient as stock and offer a margin of safety that a stock setup cannot. There is no harm in using big injectors and pump if tuned properly.

My point exactly...meaning that if these fuel components were installed prior to installing the larger turbo, you will need to get re-tuned. This costs money. Why upgrade injectors, get tuned, then upgrade turbo shortly after and re-tune? Pointless unless the current injectors are coming close to their max duty cycle. This would save him a tremendous amount of money and time. That's like me (stock turbo) installing 1000cc injectors and driving to get tuned, then a week later installing a new turbo....completely pointless. If he does not NEED these larger injectors right now, they can wait. It will not be a relevant benefit.
