The head is getting resurfaced and pressure check, along with the Valves getting resurfaced. I told them to put in the ARP head studs that I have been neglecting to put in. Its coming out to 2082.17, I got a military discount. It should be done by Tuesday next week.

But I have been having a problem with the HTA35R, I installed a manual boost controller, and it still wont regulate the boost. I have it set at 15 psi till I finish the tune, but my gauge keeps telling me that its set at 21+ sometimes. Its odd, not sure what to do about that one. But I'll figure it out, or someone will give me a hint/hand.

Thanks for all your input, I really appreciate it.
What kind of boost controller? brand?

Yeah, I stopped doing that when the lower IC pipe kept blowing off. Learned my lesson.

I think its the harmon manual bc. Or is it harman? or hallman? I used to, and still have, the HKS EVC, but with that one set to 0, it was telling me it was going to 27 psi. Like I said... not sure what might cause that.

What are you using for boost reference? You could have a sticking ball or something ...have you serviced your mbc recently?

So? You have to trouble shoot. How did your boost leak test go?

What type of BOV do u have? If its a greddy, its known for the rubber diaphragm to sometimes tear and cause a boost leak after an extended period of time.

It wouldn't hurt to put some anti-seize on the hallman mbc screw part and some synthetic bearing grease on the ball. Also clean out all the holes with a pipe cleaner.

Yeah, it is easier to leave the intake and exahaust manifold on, and just get a monkey to grab the other side of the head and pull straight up on the whole thing and lift it off of the block.

$2000 blows man. Doing it yourself with all new OEM gaskets and having the head decked shouldn't cost more than $700-800.
