K&N or WORKS drop in filter?

Ok, so I asked about the LICP in my other thread, now I want to know if anyone has tried both of these filters? The WORKS is more expensive, but claims to be much better ( like every product developer is going to say ). I've heard and read some bad things about the K&N letting in a lot of small particles, which I don't like to much.. I haven't heard enough about the WORKS brand to know anything, so I just thought i'd start a thread and ask. What do you all think? Which is best?

K&N and it filters better than stock, I use it and on the dyno it made 7whp over the stock filter on a back to back test. Also you save money by not having to buy another one. WORKS stuff cost way too much and most of the time lower priced brand name items outperform there's.

Heres a guy selling one

In terms of filtration, I highly doubt you would see any monumental difference between the two.

perhaps the person who wrote it was biased or didn't look at the numbers... my reading is fine, like your insults are pathetic.

I think justboosted02 like many of us was a little puzzled about your statement regarding K n N Typhoon intake. Many members have posted threads about their issues with that intake in the past and majority of those threads has been somewhat negative to say the least. Here's a thread to start.

That's fine, but don't come out and say my reading isn't that good because I read something that he doesn't agree with.

there is a reason no one uses that intake, but if you think its the best by all means go for it
