Ferrea Springs&retainers issue HELP

i have a built head with Ferrea dual Springs&retainers. Is it normal for the springs to touch the sidewall of the head. ? anyone who have this setup please help. thanks.

Yes they all do that, you will need to have a machine shop open that up a little or go to a different set up. I had the same problem and I now use the FP Bee hive springs and retainers!

thanks. bought the head from a member here. maybe i should put on my super tech dual springs setup.

the shop that built the head should have made sure there was no binding. the way it is now it will be nothing but trouble

^^ From what was said about the particular head I posted those pics were the spring/retainer were meant for a 1st Gen DSM. The shop that assembled the head never did the necassary clearancing correctly.
To the OP, Check with the member you bought the head from to see exactly what components are installed.

well he sad he order the right parts and for evo. or i might just get new ones
