My Evo 9 600+whp on pump gas 700+whp on race gas

Hello all Evom users.
I am noone that you know and I wish you to help me on turbo choice for my Evo 9.

The choice is yours.

I have a 2006 Evo 9 with the following specs.

-Fully built 2.0lt block with Cosworth parts.
-Cosworth Head
-Jun 272 cams
-HKS Kansai intake manifold
-Motec M800 EMS
-HKS 1000cc injectors
-Exedy carbon twin clutch
-HKS I/C kit
-Greddy Ti-R 3.15" titanium cat back exhaust
-3.15" test pipe

To be purchased...
Double pump kit.(You know which one)
C.O.D.

I aim for 600+ whp on 100 or 98 oct European pump gas at 29-30psi max
and 700+ whp on C-16 at max (42-50) psi
and my questions are the following...

1.Which turbo should I buy?

I was thinking about HTA35 or HTA37 or AMS850R.

2.Which housing???

0.63 , 0.82 or 1.06 ?

3.Should I go T3 singlescroll or T4 twinscroll (if I go HTA)?

Hope some vendors to answer also...

Many told me that I will be ok with the HTA35R but others also told me that I need to get HTA37R at least !!!

Contact DTM they made 637 whp on pump gas, Mustang Dyno. It won't be with any of the turbo's you mentioned though.

The only one so far is the bad bish. All the other ones coming out now are 550ish.

he seems to be the only one able to build/tune them to that level, and this guy is in greece building his own car apparently. he prob can't replicate buschur results.

And they most likely have Buschur-built motors too.

yea but that is on 93...his pump gas is either 100 or 98. With any of the turbos mentioned on 100 octane 600whp is very likely

AMS claimed that 850 kit can hit 700+ whp on race gas
HTA37R has the same potential whp with 850R
HTA35R has HTA37R top end whp minus 40 whp...

I will rev that motor to 9500+ RPM...
I don't mind if the turbo lag until 4500 RPM (thinking of full spool at 4800-5000 RPM max)... if that is a hint for an answer!!!

If you are debating between a 35, 37, and an 850 and have the money for any of them, there is no reason to not go for the 850. Based on AMSs tests (could be biased but I doubt it) the 850 spools like a 35 but hits power like a 37. Its the best of both worlds. Go for it! Oh and nice set up

Money is not an issue for the turbo kit decision.
I just want a turbo kit for my potential whp.
The think that I do not like on AMS kit is the external position!!!
They have it on downpipe!
I like shearer, buschur etc etc manifolds!!!
