Tial Wastegate Issue

So I had finished boost leak testing last night and went out to make a few pulls, in 2nd gear I watched the boost gauge climb to 35psi. I knew I didnt have the boost controller (Hallman) turned up that much. I figured the ball got stuck right?

I turned it all the way down so it should be off of wastegate pressure (15psi). Make another pull, same thing! So I just got rid of the boost controller all together and tried it with just the wastegate. Same thing climbed to 25psi before I let out. So I take it I have an issue with my Tial 38mm wastegate. Anyone else ever had this issue?

That sucks, can you remove it and push in the valve with your hand like a bov valve?

Is that enough wastegate for that setup?

How are your boost controller lines hooked up? Try to blow air into side port of wastegate and see if it is opening

Boost controller line is to the turbo + wastegate. Its always been fine no issues till recently.

I was wondering If I could blow air in the wastegate and see how that goes.

But remember, I even took the boost controller off, just a line to the turbo to the wastegate and still had the same problem. I did a boost leak RIGHT before I took the car out, so no leaks.

I put this in, drove fine, everything ok. Just started the other night, not because I switched anything.

Took it apart at work just now, The valve is stuck.
