SO guys i need ur opinion : Im running on ECUTEK right now, im thinking to replace the ECUTEK by MOTEC M800 ... ''STOCK INTERNALS'' what do u think so ??? more torque ??? better tuning ?? or the ECUTEK is the better than MOTEC FOR the FRGreen ???
THX IN ADVANCE

ECUTEK is outdated, Motec is overpriced and you really need a person who UNDERSTANDS it, cause it's probably the most advanced tuning method. AEM EMS and a good tuner for 100% results.

+1 I agree. I think Motec is over priced and has no knock control which is gay. ECUTEK is very outdated and over priced cause the things you can do with ECUflash is amazing. If you were thinking about going MOTEC take that money and get AEM EMS w/ o2. I would get AEM but I live in New York and they scan the ecu for emission inspections if I move to FL in 2010 then I get AEM no emmisions there
so i have to choose in between !!!
That's why !!!
But im affraid to loose my turbo from the MOTEC ... !!! is that true ???
i can say we have been trying all diff kinds of things with my car. We had put on one of the first greens to be out and this green has been on about 4 other cars before mine LOL. and it made 397hp at 20psi boost. was on 93 oct was a very safe easy turn.
I would say stick with the stock ecu...or if you enjoy tuning and tweaking things the AEM would be a good choice if you really wanted a stand alone.
i agree with you. stock is the way to go with the green. plus aem you will always have to look and make sure. also if the car gets knock the aem wont add or take timing so you will be left with a poped motor.
