stock mounts are fine, unless the car is a full time race car. for DD you'll just get too much vibrations...

currently its not a dd... or a track car its just more of a weekend car... its not going to hurt not having motor mounts right?

yea you'll be fine without, but if you want to upgrade but dont want to go to extreme you could always do a blox engine rollstopper

You can get away with the front and two side ones without too much vibration (if you go with a Powerflex or something). Once you do the Rear mount you'll get a lot of vibration.

more mounts you get more vibration you will feel at idle. I have the AMS lower engine mount - min vibrations and you will notice better shifts (less engine rocking).

For sure do the front one. You will be amazed at how well the car with shift afterwards. I thought my tanny was toast because I could never get into second gear.... a friend suggested I replace the front mount with a solid one, and I did, now the car falls in to gear........ I would not recommend doing the rear one for sure.... it transmits all the drive-train noise directly in the cabin, its terrible sounding and very loud.

Believe it or not, we have found that there is actually less NVH introduced into the cabin and throughout the vehicle as a whole when doing both the front lower as well as the two side mounts in comparison to just the front lower by itself.

We have sold a few hundred sets of the Powerflex bushings, and MANY people have confirmed these results when having installed them in stages; the front lower first, with the two sides at a later date.

Installing the fourth rear bushing reintroduces a bit more NVH over the front and sides together, but still nothing obnoxious.

The improvements to shifting and transitional throttle response far outweigh any slightly increase in vibration, however, particularly when used with shifter bushings as well.

Go with inserts instead of solid mounts.
