Humming Sound

I just recently picked up a 2003 Evo 8 with about 70,000 miles on it. I noticed when i got it, it makes alittle humming noise at idle and starts to have a slight "tick" when im just cruisin. Its not coming from the engine, but when i push in the clutch, it stops. Ill let out the clutch and it starts again. Any clue what this could be? I was thinking possible throw out bearing problem or somthing similar. The clutch still is still very stong, smooth shifting, and it doesnt grind any gear.

Any possiblitys that this is a major problem or somthings going to expload?

Thanks again!

Note that the sound comes from the drivers side front tire. If i pop the hood you can hear it from the right side of the engine bay.

Totally normal read up theres 1 million posts about it. Your TC is fine as long as its doesnt whine at cruise

Some will say its the TOB and some will say its the input shaft bearing. Every EVO I have ever been in does this including brand new IX's and its louder once you go to an aftermarket clucth and flywheel set up

Dont worry drive and enjoy your car.
