Fuel filter?
Yes, the strainer that eatsleepboost is talking about is the only "filter" that you can really replace in the fuel delivery system, and that's inside the fuel tank. They don't usually get clogged up, so no need to replace it unless you replace your fuel pump. Also, the fuel pump module, where the fuel pump and fuel level sensor attaches to, has an integral fuel filter built into it as well.
The fuel pump housing has a filter like element inside as a last line of defense for dirt. Personally I am shocked that no after-market company has designed a plug and play fuel filter for a Evo motor. I.E. Canton Racing Products

I know about the filter on the pump itself. I was talking about a fuel filter that's somewhere between the pump and fuel rail. I'm kind of surprised there isn't one. Most cars have fuel filters. But whatever I guess I don't have to worry about it then.
