Sorry for the n00b question but is there a factory short throw shifter option for the evo 9? I've searched for it but only found aftermarket stuff. Is there even a factory short shifter for these cars? If not someone please recommend a good short shifter for the 9. The stock shifter feels way too notchy, any tips to make the shifts like butter?

 

I don't think you're going to get less notchy shifts from a short shifter. From my experience shifting other cars without them, they're usually much better feeling. I also have solid shift bushings on the trans, so mine is especially notchy.
