Yes they are. I'm assuming they're just ground to FP spec, that's all.

I'm not sure why people seem to care what they sound like, over how they perform . I'd def. be more concerned on how they perform before anything . I believe Kelford to be the best "off the shelf" cam you can get your hands on.

I have the FP4R, my friend has the Cosworth M2, and my other friend has the Kelford 272 cams. We all have IX's with nearly identical mods and all make nearly identical WHP/WTQ.

Moral of the story: All of these cam choices are very good and make very similar power. I will note though, I hold power better above 6k RPM than my friend with the Kelford's according to the dyno charts, but have not had a chance to compare charts against the car with Cossies.
