Please Help, Power steering little wire.
Hey, I've recently been doing a lot of changes in my setup and I noticed that a little wire on the wiring harness was just dangling and figured out that it had been pulled out of the power steering assembly.
I did a little looking around on the Factory service manual and saw that it is the, Pressure Switch connector. just not exactly sure if it's totally needed. I've seen a few shots of David buschur's engine bay and noticed that it's not connected. I have a pic showing you what I'm talking about
It is part number 1 in the picture.

here is david's car, it looks like the wire is not connected.

Hey ya'll, I just soldered the wire back onto the little tab that was left on the power steering pump. I hope this will be okay.....just dont want to start any fires lol it does seem like the solder does touch some metal that surrounds the tab that was left on the pump
ya'll think I should buy a new pump???

That's just the the switch ground that goes to pin 37 of 119 of the ECU that's prabably on a bookshelf any way. It just tells the ecu if the pressure switch is open or closed. Dike it off if EMS
