Lots of info here:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=380134

It seems as though you need 880 injectors (min), upgraded FMIC, upgraded 02 housing, all fair amount of porting on you mani, possibly some porting on the RED Turbo itself, and some are running dump for even better performance.

That's really it. Obviously METH or race gas will give you more juice but not needed...

I bet you could run it on the stock IX cams with decent results! Otherwise Kelfords or Cossies FTW.

Do you have e85 available around you, if so I would go that route, and as far as cams go, dont worry about those yet, theres a local guy around me that I think gained under 10 whp after he installed his cams on his 9.

My bad, forgot to add cams. I think cams are a must. The RED is a high boost, higher RPM cam. It doesn't even hit full boost until 4200...therefore, having a cam that can breath lots of air at a higher RPM is key.

why is everyone acting like 4200 rpm is laggy i know when i drive my car its hard for me to stay out of boost just like the stock turbo....full boost is anywhere between 4000-4200 rpm....

the red is not so much a higher boost turbo like everyone is complaing about...it does fine at 26psi and above...anybody buying any new turbo over stock and running less than 25psi is pointless anyway so people need to stop complaining and saying its a high boost turbo when they dont even have one

i hope i'm not off topic. so in ur opinion if i'm planning on running pump gas alone all the time then i should go for a green instead(assuming that 26psi and above is to much for pump gas). what do u recommend as safe boost for a stock block pump gas engine and is the red a good turbo pump gas

I like the cosworth M2 on the IX, they've consistently made great power for my customers.

Preach on brother. I'm tired of hearing it. It's funny though, I think there's a guy running a 37r on 23psi......haha. Anyway I'm getting everything bolted on and tuned in a couple of weeks so you can check out my gains. I'll be running:

FP Red
JM Fab O2 Dump
FP4Rs
Ported/Coated Stock Mani
FIC950s
HFS-5

Obviously this is on top of all of my other boltons like exhaust, intercooler, intake, etc.....
