Can someone clarify this for me please?

Hello.

I'm buying FMIC from this guy;

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=384966

And he sent me these;

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y48/Lexar/IMG_1464.jpg
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y48/Lexar/IMG_1466.jpg
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y48/Lexar/IMG_1467.jpg
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y48/Lexar/IMG_1468.jpg
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y48/Lexar/IMG_1469.jpg

I'm wondering if someone can clarify me if this is the original FMIC from Greddy.

I am not sure if this is Greddy because;
1. All of the Greddy FMIC do not have that "Greddy" logo on the FMIC, as far as I know.
2. No part of it says Greddy except that logo on it, which can be painted easily.

I just want to buy the real stuff. Thank you in advance for the help.

ok first of all im just saying now dont get offended by my comments please. your not the brightest one are you seriously. If you take alook at the pics that intercooler first of all is extremely Long. the size is ok but the length is kind of extreme for a evo unless its the kind where you got to do some cutting to make it fit. which could be the case moving on. Secondly if you Notice the GREDDY logo is upside down on the back side. OEM defect perhaps. Not likely and you even pointed out the FACT that greddy does not put logo on there intercoolers. I have only personally seen one Greddy intercooler with logo and that was added like HKS. The intercooler itself looks like it has alittle rust on it in the corners and just wore out. For those reasons alone i would never consider this. buy hey its your money.

These two sellers have been selling greddy intercoolers for awhile. at one point i considered one. you can ask them all the questions you want. Do the smart thing and walk away keep looking.

I have a greddy intercooler and it doesn't say Greddy on it anywhere. You just got to hope you are buying a real Greddy product. All you can do is look around and hope you find a truthful vendor or the person you are buying it from isn't bull ****ting you! GL!

From looking at the intercooler not installed, it seems like it won't fit but it actually does. For the EVO 8 the GReddy M-SPEC was made to utilize the whole grill as compared to the EVO 9 grill.

As for the Stencil on the Intercooler, its an option, you can request to have it put on or you can leave as is.

Finally, the looks alone would drive me away from it, save up and buy a nice new one for around $400-600, the choice is yours.

Hint - to go ETS website... www.extremeturbosystems.com, they're pretty good in that department.

lol @ RockmanX

Nah man I just like ETS craftsmanship when it comes to Intercoolers. I mean he can choose whatever, Its a wide market. But for $400 on a used greddy, especially in that condition and its a M-spec model that retails for $520 with the upper and lower piping. Dude, this is a no brainier, save up 200 extra and buy a new one, case close let's move on from this topic.

It looks like you should move on. 1. he's advertising with a part number for one of the more expensive ones (SPEC-R). That has the cheaper bar and plate design instead of the tube and fin or whatever they call it. 2. Look on the top there should be a Greddy logo impression on the top. 3. greddy doesn't outsource their i/c's they are made by Trust

I wish Michael, I already bought the 3" FMIC along with the Upper and Lower pipe kit.
In the near future I will upgrade to your 3.5" Core and replace the old style LICP with the new design you guys created.

I gotta take some pictures of the engine bay, all the parts I got from you are in black.

ETS FMIC
ETS UICP (for stock battery) - Black
ETS LICP - Black
ETS Air Intake Kit / K&N Cone - Black
