Is it normal if an injector looks different?

I bought a set of new PTE 880s and one of them looks different than the other 3 at the spraying end. It looks like it has a wider spraying design compared to the others. It is the left injector in this picture. The other 2 injectors look like the right one.

Precision told me they are flow matched but I was wondering if anyone else noticed the same with his/her injectors.

Do they all have the same numbers printed on them?

If you arent contricted by time id send it back or ask for the chart showing the flow cert.

Yes same numbers but there is a difference in the pitch circle diameter of the holes

i'm not to sure on this but lets think here....If you have 2 buckets full of water and on the bottom you drill 6 holes with a pitch dia. of 6 inches and on the other one 6 holes with a pitch dia. of 3 inches, i'm sure that they will both take the same amount of time to drain as long as all the holes are the same dia.....so i'm sure it doesn't really matter with the flow but maybe the spray pattern of the injector....

If you bought them new call the distributor. Also you can call the manufacturer and ask them if that is how they should be. Another option would be to shoot AMS or Buchur etc. a pm and ask the pro's.

If you cant see a difference, please go see a eye doctor. I can clearly see a difference. They can be flowmatched, but I rather have the same spray pattern in each cilinder.

There is no chance that I would use two different looking injectors. The spray pattern would be different from one to the other.

I can see it...It may be alright, but before you go through the trouble of installing them and having to take them back out...send that pic to the people you got them from and ask them their opinion.

They should all be identical in appearance, especially at the tip.
