I'm not going to get into an argument, but search a little bit (good luck) and you'll see exactly where I'm getting it. How will it mess up your car?
I made the catch can from a compressor filter you find at Lowes. I also picked up a sleave there that holds the filter and dresses it up a bit. I used one of the mounting brackets used for the throttle wire. the sleave has two screw holes in the back and I used the bracket to mount to one of the VC bolts. That's it.

you can do the PCV side too but that's over kill, if you've got one catch can do the side I recommend, if you really feel it's necessary do the PCV side too. The advantage of having the catch can on the VC outlet is to eliminate any oil being sucked through to the turbine.

What's the point in catching the positive crank oil anyhow.
And a catch can is a catch can, I don't understand why someone would pay $100 for a forge unit unless they're only concern is looks.
My current catch can has yet to be drained and I've had it on there for almost a yr. Maybe 4 oz collected in that time.

And just FYI the VC is loaded with oil, so what's this with keeping the valves oil free, I'm confused...

I'm talking about the backside of the valves that are in the intake ports going into the cylinder, possibly gunking up your seats lowering compression. Like I said, it may not be an issue at all due to gas being injected at the same time keeping them clean. Valves seals keep that oil in the valve cover.
