Dumb question about front frame/radiator support.

So I went to remove the front bumper to install my front mount. Passenger side upper bumper bolt, SNAP!, drill and install easy out, SNAP! Easy out is rock hard, and my bits just kept breaking. Anyhow, I drilled around it, and finally got the easy out removed. However, I had to drill the rest of it out so I am left with about a 1/2 inch hole there. I am **** about these things and just wondered if the front frame section has ever been replaced by anyone on here. I see spot welds all over, so I am sure its not a bolt on piece. And I am also sure that one wouldnt want to removed or repair this unless it was in an accident. But I would like your guys feedback! Humor me.

I did it once on a GVR-4 a long time ago. It is possible, but you might want to consider putting a "Nutsert" in it. I'm not sure if that is the name but it's basically a pressed in threaded section.

I would however consider just ignoring it since there is another bolt holding it in and no one will ever see it. Or try and tap the hole with a larger bolt thread.
