The BBK, or "Billet Blue Kompressor", has a blue anodized compressor wheel. The Red, on the other hand, doesn't actually have anything "red" on it. Blatant false advertising if ya ask me.

lol im get my red powercoated Red for flavor lol why not. i dont care its already paided for brand new and still not installed yet lol just sitting in my room waiting for ppi to port it once im done with all the painting of my ati body kit and jdm rear bumper then ill think about installing it but first off to ppi to get it ported coated and might as well pick up a ported intake and 65 mm T/b.

Oh my fault i was ranting again lol the question was the difference between the bbk and the red. again waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to many threads on this topic you can do a search and net 10 plus threads on this . depends on what your looking for

bbk series Fast spool not gonna get high top end "but folks still doing testing so who knows"
Fp Red Decent spool but high top end. "same testing still going on"

What are your goals if its your hp number then you might want to go 35r terriorty and above. both turbos are cool get whatever one you want and guess what deal with it. Make that turbo work for you. How about this get what you can afford

the red is plain larger... 61-65 lbs min is the rumor... and I believe it.. ive tuned them...

our turbo is 49-50 lbs min.....

The red will make UBER power 30+psi, and still make good pump gas numbers...

the BBK will obviously spool quicker and make awesome power on pump, but the red will beat it up at high boost levels... its plain larger...

Both good products obviously, look at all of the feedback and information on them...

if you need more specific info pm me, or im sure FP can answer your red questions.

Heck... i'd like to know the differences.

How about the differences in the compressor and turbine wheels? Inducer, exducer, diameters, trim, etc.

what does it matter i dont get these threads about the turbo what exactly are you aiming at is the whole point. there is NO this turbo is better than this one. They all do the same thing concept wise force more air make more power. how much power do you want and how fast is the only thing in question. Now i can see build quality as well. if you want nice hp numbers with some lag then red 35r etc. if you dont care about hp but want the power quicker then bbk green etc. thats it. who cares if you knew the answer to the compressor and turbine wheels. how about you buy one and find out yourself and be happy. IM SURE CBRD OR FP WILL SELL ONE TO YOU RIGHT NOW ON SPOT SO YOU CAN FIND OUT

Some people want to know what they're buying before they buy it. Yeah, crazy talk, I know.

With the red you give up a lil spool for more top end, bbk good all around turbo. Red flows more and will shine on e85 and race gas. Bbk also works well on e85 and race gas.

Both are a great option, for me the red was my choice because of the type of power and the amount of power I need.

yes considering green red bbk all use the evo 9 turbo platform hmmm good job lakerraider. they all make the same power and why spend 1799 when you can spend 899 for the orginal 9 and make 500 hp. what a joke when you find me a dyno chart that shows that let me know and see it
