t-case filling?

So i decided to change the fluid in the transfer case and rear diff today and I cant seem to get all of the .58 qt into the t-case. I tried a couple of methods I found on here. After i get about 12 oz in it starts to come back out of the fill hole. I tried driving around for a little bit to get any possible air pockets out of the t-case(which is what i read to do about not getting enough oil in the tcase on evom) but when i open the fill plug it starts to come out still. If any has advice it would be appreciated. thanks

if its starting to come out that means its full. unless the car is pitched foward on stands or a lift, you are not going to get all of it out. so just add the fluid till it starts to pour out. and close it back up
