Upper IC pipe and BOV help???

I have a SS upper ic pipe. It is a very nice piece and is flanged for 50mm bov. Do I have any options for keeping my metal jdm bov? Last time I checked, you couldnt weld aluminum to steel....are there products stronger than jbweld or should I just scrap the pipe? Thanks

You dont need a "flange" to put the stock BOV back on, just a short section of straight pipe with a bead rolled end. The real issue is that the hole currently on your pipe is alot bigger than the pipe diameter needed for a stock BOV. You'll need to find someone with some fab skills to be able to close up the hole somewhat and taper it down so that they can weld a smaller diameter pipe onto it. There are plenty of qualified vendors on this forum who could do it for you. I'd recommend JMFab based on years of personal experience with their work.
