Unhappy Whistling noise when car is driving!

I just changed my clutch two days ago, and now i got my check engine light on.. I checked to see what code it was it is P0403. After doing some research i find out that a hose is pinched or the EGR valve is cracked etc.

I want to know does this make sense the reason for my car to be throwing this code and making this whistling sound is because it has something to do with this valve?

What do I need to do to fix this issue?

Thanks

Check the vacuum lines under the intake manifold near the throttle body that go to the EGR. One probably came off when you were doing your clutch. Has happened several times on my Evo. I meant to zip tie them when the tranny was out and forgot.

Thanks for your imput man, i guess the EGR valve vaccum lines seem to be the common denominator...

I will look at it on Friday!

haha same thing happened to a friend yesterday..Most likely the vacum line under the TB popped off..Good times
There are 2 vacum lines that are ran behine the intake mani., they are held together with a clip, checlk and make sure both are connected to the correct nipples

as peteyturbo said, it was my car that had a vacuum line pop off. so far it seems to be the fix. going to do a boost leak check tomorrow hopefully just to double check everything

I just got the P0401 code which is also related to the EGR setup...

I also get a "whistle" type sound when I let off the gas from time to time, or if I rev it in neutral, it'll whistle when I let off the gas and let the engine decelerate! I'm assuming this is related to the EGR hoses/parts.

I'm going to check the hoses when I get a chance!

thanks guys!
Im sure that happened to me as well when we moved the transfer case out of the way. If the EGR valve or solenoid is broken or faulty how much is for the part????

Once again thanks everyone.
