So, I thought I would check out my spark plug cover to see if I had the Mitsu logo or the word. So, I started peaking around a little to get familiar with where everything is...New to Evo's, but not cars. Well, I came across a few connectors on the driver's side between the fender, headlight, and air box that are not connected to ANYTHING!!! I have an RS, so I know that there are a lot of deletes on the car. However, I wouldn't mind knowing what they go to. The connectors are in the pic below. Oh, and it's a IX RS

Um, and it should still be there...

 

The RS doesn't have an ACD...So, why would it still be there?

 

unless I'm have a major brain malfunction all ix's have ACD

 

that's what I thought

 

If my RS has ACD...the button doesn't work to change the setting...I don't know though. Like I said, I am new to these cars

What you mean it doesn't work? Does it light up in the gauge cluster?

 

I can't confirm but possibly the connectors were for the ACD pump?

 

The green light stays on TARMAC and will not change to SNOW or GRAVEL. I am still under 30k. Maybe I will have to take this thing to the dealer I bought it at and have a few words with them.

g*d D*&^%&^%&^%!!! I am going to have to kill someone aren't I? Do you guys think I can do anything about this, seeing as how I did buy it at a dealership like 2 months ago! I was also told that it had never been modded!!!

 

you need to have a lot of words with them...and tell them that you refuse the car unless a specialized evo shop looks at it and fixes it on their tab

 

Im pretty sure those do go to the ACD which you are missing. I agree^
