Instaling new Circlip

Ok I just got a new driver side front circlip from mitsu that was a special order because my axel kept popping out away from the transmission. At first i thought it was the axel seal leaking. I took the old one out and compared the two and it did look stretched bigger about 1/4 inch larger. But this could have happened when I was taking it out. Now I am trying to put the new one in and I don't want to damage it. Is there anything special I should know?

Yup. I know what you mean. I will try it and see what happens thanks. I can't imagine the old one was causeing this problem but we will see if it fixes the axle issue. Next step new axel.
