looks bad ***

 

Man, glad I live 20 miles from an HPC center. I got a tubular manifold and stainless O2 housing coated in the same stuff for $350.

The coating is THICK compared to a lot of the other coatings I've seen.

The stuff is put on with a flame/plasma gun, very cool process.

 

Looks much better now... Let us know how it looks overtime

 

I think I like it black the best man That high temp coating stuff is awesome

Blackness update page 1 installed pictures and it's holding up so far super nice.

 

shark hows your coating still holding up and how long did it take your polished manifold to go from no return thanks.

 

I have the same manifold, it goes in process...

goes from nice polished to blue - gold then just goes to what you see, it can take a matter of a few months well it did for me anyways....

that thing is just super hot and driving through the rain doesn't help the process...

Shark is not the easiest on that car, one of the few guys who literally puts his car through the paces every time he drives it from my understanding..... lol

 

good to no i may skip the polish then and save the extra coin if in a few short months it could look like dodo

 

This manifold looks exactly like mine. i sent mine out myself to jethot got my manifold and exhaust housing done

 

any updates on the condition of the coated header sharkbite?

 

Still holding up like a champ even through the extreme heat cycle

It actually look's like the first day I did it, so to me it passes with flying colors!
