i just threw p0335 crankshaft code and p0134 heated front oxygen circuit sensor failure?????
the car fires right up and it doesnt fire up as fast as it used to and my bat retains 12-13 volts rather than 14 volts like it used to, (when the car is turned off is when it does the volts) but when its fired up it reads 14 volts the whole time i think it maybe time for a new lightwieght buscher battery which is wat i have in the car now
thanks for any input you guys it would really help i would do it for all of you
Thankyou, Connor

My car was throwing the P0335 code so I changed the CPS. Tried firing it up and car still wouldn't start and was still throwing the code. I just so happened to go underneath my car and give the starter some tapping with a hammer. Car started right up. Turned the car off. Tried starting it again, wouldn't start. Tapped the starter again, started right up. Replaced the starter and haven't had any problems since. For some reason the bad starter was throwing the CPS code or maybe it caused the CPU to think the CPS was bad because it wasn't cranking. I hope this helps anyone who ever comes across this problem. It was cheaper and less of a pain in the *** to change the starter than the CPS.
Im having a problem with the P0335 code as well. I dont know what to do with it. Im also throwing P0300 and P0325 / P0325p.
I ordered a replacement knock sensor and will be replacing it this evening most likely.
Also i was having a flashing oil light so i replaced the oil pressure switch. For some reason when i roll to a stop sign in neutral the oil light will come on but then go away when i drive from the stop sign. Oil is full and will replaced soon with fresh oil.

Okay i figured out my issue.
First there was mulitple issues all at once. I fixed a wire i found lose. Yet what was causing the codes to be thrown was a negative on the starter.. the wire gounding the starter was dirty. I took that off sprayed some dust off in there. The sanded the terminal to make a better connection.
I know it worked as i drove from Virginia Beach and am now in New Jersey right accross the lincoln tunnel.
I was sketchy about turning the car off at first i felt if i did i would have never been able to start it again.

my turn
<p>yesterday i noticed my batt light flashing.i pulled on the harness to the battery and threw a p0300 code with a little sputter but it idled fine. cleared it batt light stayed on, so i look at my alternator to see the case bolts had fallen out. i then got a new alternator and r&r'd it. while i was at it i tried to fix the oil light sender but failed. i pulled the **** out of the harness to get the end up high enough to get at it. gave up finished the alternator. just to get the belt to wrap around the alt and line up i cranked the car backwards by the crank snout. now i have a p0335 and p0400 code with 12.5v at the batt and good cranking just no start. only problem up till this point is p.o. didnt put a thermostat in it. any ideas?</p>
<p>and fwiw evoscan shows rpm while cranking but not crank signal. don't know if thats normal. also both pinouts of cas and cps are 12v 5v ground is present.</p> also appears that anytime you get an odd no start With crank it throws these codes.haven't checked fuel or spark.
