Loud beep noise

Hey guys, as some of you may now that I got an 04 evo couple of days ago. Every thing was fine until last night when it started making this loud beep noise on the highway. The faster I go the louder the noise gets and when I let the accelerator go it sounds like a rattle of jar of coins. I am super stressed out right now as I can't take the car to the dealer until tomorrow to get it checked by an Evo specialist. The car doesn't do this on idle or going under 40mph. Please help

If the faster you go on the highway the louder you hear a sort of whining. You TC is shot. As for the Decel noise that's normal

Is the beep intermittent or continuous? When I first got my '03, it had a turbo timer / boost gauge, and the boost alarm point was set very low, so for the first few days I would get these beeps at full boost. +1 for getting a sample if the dealer can't figure it out.

WRT warranty, I think it depends on the in service date for the vehicle, but you should have roughly 1 year left on the powertrain part of it. The dealer can look that up and confirm.

Any 03 Evolution would be out of Factory warranty at this point. Remember 03's didn't get the 10yr/100k.

3/36 B to B
5/60 Powertrain

Unless you purchased a warranty above this with the car get your checkbook ready. The dealer is going to give you every reason in the world on how the car was beat on and not covered

Sweet I just refered to his sig in where it says he drives a 03

If it is a 04 being the subsequent owner and not the original he gets the 5yr/60k not the 10yr/100k.

So depending on purchase date and vehicle millage you may still be technically in warranty. Then there is getting mitsu to

1. Warranty it
2. Trusting those momo's to not screw up your car worse attempting to fix it
