stupid brake/clutch fluid question

I'm putting in a ss clutch line and am obviously going to have to bleed/add some clutch fluid when done, do I have to get this from the mitsu dealer? or is it safe to mix another brand. If it's not safe to mix, what's the best way to drain the clutch/brake fluid since it's a shared resevoir?

I was originally just going to drain the clutch fluid and put in some penzoil dot4 I had picked up but that was before I realized it was a shared system and it's starting to look like much more of a chore to bleed both at the same time.

Any DOT4 will be fine. If you plan to do any track days, you'll want to flush your brakes and clutch with a higher quality DOT4, but for daily driving any DOT4 will do.

Yes, all DOT3 and DOT4 brake fluids can be mixed. Just make sure you fill it up past the MAX line. That's how high it has to be to fill the clutch side of the reservoir.
