03 with front lsd but no acd ok?

I read an article on mistubishiforms that the 03/04 did not have the front lsd...except for the 04 rs which has the front lsd but did not have abs like the other 03/04 evos. It also stated that abs will "mess with a true awd car without and acd."

Is it ok to run a lsd in front and rear with a vcd and abs brakes? Does any one run this setup? My transmission is not happy and I am considering a rebuild in the future but would like to have the lsd in front to help launching, etc.

sounds good to me. I did not see how it would be a problem but I would rather err on the side of caution.

What power level is the stock front lsd good for. When is the Quaife lsd a necessary and should you just upgrade the axle rods (not sure is that is a correct term)?

Thank you for all your help I am new to this topic.

Rebuilding your trans doesn't really help you since the front diff is in the t-case.

It is cheaper labor wise to have them both taken out/ installed at once instead of two different procedures. I would like to have the limited slip to help with lauching and cornering. So I figured that if I need to have my tranny rebuilt and I want a lsd...why kill to birds with one stone.

I was taking to someone at shep who told me I was at the limit of the stock open diff and when launching hard at the track I could break it.

I am experiencing lock out going into 4th and now occasionally 3rd gear at high rpm. Once I managed to get into gear there was a loud bang and grinding noise (has happened in fourth and now third). I immediately got into neutral and the car drives normal at other times but has trouble at the track.
